The newly-opened spaces have been planned since 2016 and have cost $1.3 million to build.
Parliamentary secretary for Western NSW Rick Colless said there were now 870 car parking spaces for people to use.
“We know this has been a long time coming,” he said.
“The government announced plans in 2016 and it was a long battle to find sites to accommodate additional parking because of heritage issues and being next to a golf course.
“The local health district has worked hard to come up with workable situations to deliver the extra spaces.”
Mr Colless said the work had been completed ahead of schedule including the provision of 60 spaces along the Forest Road boundary that were not due to be ready until next year.
The extra spaces include dedicated parking places for people needing to access oncology services.
Western NSW Local Health District chief executive Scott McLachlan said the hospital was increasingly busy.
“Enhancements in radiation oncology, medical oncology and ambulatory care services means we are treating more people than ever,” he said.
