Staff and patrons were evacuated from the facility on Tuesday morning when the leak from a chlorine tank was discovered.
The centre failed to open again on Tuesday, but management had hoped the issue would be resolved in time to allow public access to the pools on Wednesday morning.
It’s not known if the pools will be operational on Thursday.
But while the leak has been repaired, SafeWork NSW made an assessment of the site and determined it required a professional clean up on Wednesday.

In a statement, management said it understood the public’s “frustration with the closure of the centre”.
“Our first priority is the safety of our staff and our swimmers. We apologise for the disruptions,” it read.
Staff attempted to notify parents and guardians with children in learn to swim classes on Wednesday, which have been cancelled, with payment for the lessons credited.
As to exactly when the pools will reopen remains unclear.
“Once we can access the plant room we will begin to treat the water again to bring it up to normal water quality standards,” the statement read.
“We will then let you know as soon as we do, when we can reopen.”
