THERE are severe thunderstorms predicted for Orange on Saturday, according to a warning issued by the Bureau of Meteorology.

The BoM on Friday reported all of NSW could expect wild weather in the first part of the weekend, with Orange in a band of the state that was categorised as “likely” to experience severe thunderstorms.
Other Central West centres, including Bathurst, Dubbo and Mudgee, are in the same category.
According to www.weatherzone.com.au, Orange is predicted to receive up to 20 millimetres of rain on Saturday.
The forecast calls for a “very high chance of showers in the afternoon and evening” with “a thunderstorm likely in the afternoon and evening, possibly severe”.
There is also forecasts of winds up to 25km/h.
Sunday will likely be calmer, although there is still an 80 per cent chance of a further 10 millimetres of rain.
