Members of the Central West Police District and the Youth Action Council will join Roundabout Central West chairman Paul Cox in the annual clean up.
“Anything we can do to improve the appearance of the community is worthwhile doing so that’s why I do it,” Mr Cox said.
He said the two sites to be cleaned up this year will be a walkway near to D’Aquino’s Liquor on Bathurst Road and the north wall of the Central West Exhausts building on Peisley Street.

“We don’t have as big of a problem as some of the other places and when ever we clean it up it doesn’t seem to reappear,” Mr Cox said.
“We don’t have a huge problem but there is a problem.”
Before work starts on Sunday, participants are to gather for a 9am debrief at the front of the old police station in Byng Street, next to the court house.
Mr Cox said anyone can take part in the clean up and said people should wear old clothes, a hat and sunscreen.
