Helen Worland has recently returned from Croatia, where she was part of the Australian team for the World Seniors Tennis titles.

Her team of four ladies in the 65-70 age group were selected by Tennis Seniors Australia and Tennis Australia.
Helen said it was a privilege to represent Australia again, and she was appreciative to have the support of her family, friends and local community.
They made good progress through the rounds, defeating Switzerland, Poland and South Africa, progressing their way to the final where they played against the USA.
Sadly, they lost 2-1, but held their heads high by winning the silver medals.
In the second week of competition Helen and her partner played well but bowed out to a British pair in the quarter-finals.
In the singles Helen played well to reach the semi-finals where she lost to Nora Bloom, who went on to win gold.
Helen picked up a bronze medal.
Helen said it was a privilege to represent Australia again, and she was appreciative to have the support of her family, friends and local community.
