Situated just off Carbine Road, the garden that surrounds the beautifully renovated weatherboard home is the most distant from Ramble HQ in this year’s Millthorpe Garden Ramble.
Like all gardens, Jane’s is in a constant state of evolution as plants are removed or die and are then replaced.
One thing that never changes though is that view across to the distant mountain.
Sitting on the verandah with her dog Tilly, and with a cottage-style garden surrounding the home, Mount Canobolas is front and centre for Jane and her partner Michael Moore.
It really is a delightful place to sit of an afternoon and just take in the view and the beauty of the garden.
- Jane Cowper
“It really is a delightful place to sit of an afternoon and just take in the view and the beauty of the garden,” Jane said.
Those partaking in the Millthorpe Garden Ramble – on the weekend of November 3 and 4 – will be able to take in the vista as well.
Properties in and around Millthorpe open their gardens to the public from 10am-4pm on both the Saturday and Sunday.
The cost is $25 for 10 gardens or $5 for each one, and tickets are valid all weekend.
