Live country and rock music from three musicians will spark the atmosphere in M Street throughout the Australian National Field Days from October 25 to 27.

Casey McFarlane will play a range of well-known country and rock and roll covers, as well as original compositions.
“I was raised around music my whole life learning a lot from my father Jimmy McFarlane Jnr and many of his muso mates,” he said.
“I began playing drums at the age of 10 and switched to the guitar at the age of 14 and I have never looked back.”

Chloe Swannell will also be a popular act to look out for and said she primarily writes and plays country music, but also covers pop, rock, country rock, folk, and jazz songs.
“I have been performing for six years. I started at the age of 14 busking at markets and open mic nights,” she said.
“After turning 18 I got my first residency and started playing at pubs and clubs. I now travel all over the Central West performing at a variety of different venues.”

Clancy Pye will perform country music with a mix of acoustic rock and pop and said regional events such as the field days are great opportunities to showcase her original music as well as to take requests from the crowd.
“Being from a small country town myself having grown up in Oberon, I believe it’s important to celebrate and support rural and regional community events and love that I have the opportunity to contribute towards making it a unique and memorable experience for visitors and locals alike,” she said.
