The WNSWLHD has not released their names, citing confidentiality.
Orange Push for Palliative Care chair Jenny Hazelton said she was pleased with the outcome.
“They are very good community representatives who understand the process and do not have a conflict of interest,” she said.
The WNSWLHD said the process to examine expressions of interest for the provision of palliative care in Orange was on track.
Executive Director Allied Health and Innovation, Richard Cheney, said the committee was still in the process of being formed.
“WNSWLHD is happy with the speed in which the process is moving along,” he said.
“It’s anticipated we will have everything ready by the end of the year, but when the service will be up and running will also be dependent on the successful potential tender.”
