At 5.30pm Tom Lee will discuss the novel, which is about a young man who is struggling to forge some sense from his experiences and employs an older woman as his running coach.
Coach Fitz is a former psychoanalyst, her methods combine fitness training with an intellectual curiosity about the spirit of the places through which they travel.
The novel focuses on the contemporary fixation on self-fashioning and wellness.
Mr Lee is known for his interest in landscape, technology and the senses.
He lectures at the School of Design at the University of Technology, Sydney and in 2014 he was the recipient of a Marten Bequest Scholarship.
