The reunion is being supported by Charles Sturt University and will feature three formal events: dinner on Friday night, a campus tour followed by dinner at CSU on Saturday evening, and a lunch at O’Connell on Sunday.
Reunion organiser Bob Spargo said the reunion is open to all students who attended MCAE or the earlier Bathurst Teachers College at any time during the 1970s.
“The 1970s were a great time to be young and attend Mitchell College in Bathurst,” Mr Spargo said.
“Many close and enduring friendships were formed, but people disperse over the years and this is a great opportunity for old friends and acquaintances to reunite, share recollections and catch-up.
“There are still a few days left for 1970s alumni of MCAE or BTC to register their interest to attend any of the three events. It’s going to be a great weekend.”
