The Orange Society of Model Engineers is holding its monthly public running day from 1pm-5pm at the park where children and adults of all ages are invited to ride for $2 a trip.
It will be a special day, with displays arranged by the Orange and District Historical Society.
Society spokesman Euan Greer said the displays would include miniature steam engines, railway memorabilia and historic photos.
Train rides cost $2 per passenger and there will also be a sausage sizzle, cakes, slices, sweet treats and cold drinks.
He said the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Historical Society.
