Through her work as a fitness coach, Lyndsay Gannon says both her and her partner, fellow trainer Lyle Davis, have met and worked with clients who have struggled with depression.

Since opening One Strength fitness centre on Moulder Street this year, Miss Gannon said the couple are eager to use their new network to do something about it.
“I’ve been through mental health issues myself. I know how hard it is to talk about,” she said.
With Mental Health Awareness Week next week, One Strength will host a fundraiser for beyondblue.
The duo have invited the public to sign up for a round-robin squash competition on Sunday October 14, with the $20 entry fees going towards the non-profit organisation. There will be a children’s competition, jumping castle and a sausage sizzle – register online.
