The Orange and North-West Orange RFS brigades will be in attendance from 10am to 2pm, alongside paramedics, police and SES workers to inform people of the best ways to be prepared for fire season when the danger period kicks off on October 1.
There will be demonstrations throughout the day and activities for children, and there will also be a sausage sizzle.
The RFS will also host a sausage sizzle and planning day at Bunnings in North Orange on Saturday, with all proceeds from the barbecue going towards Feed4Farmers.
