Colleen Southwell’s intricate paper sculptures are inspired by nature and will be in the 2018 Artisans in the Gardens exhibition.
The exhibition will be a diverse showcase of more than 2000 artworks by 41 Australian artists.
Artisans in the Gardens is in its 18th year and is a nine-day celebration of the natural world across the mediums of sculpture, ceramics, hand-blown glass, photography, jewellery and textiles.
The free exhibition runs from October 13 to 21 at historic Lion Gate Lodge, off Mrs Macquaries Road in the Royal Botanic Garden and is suitable for all ages.
Curator Lucette Moore and her team spent almost a year assembling the collection from across Australia, all works are for sale with a share of the proceeds going to Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens.
