With last week’s sunny weather yards across Orange have dried up and tufts of green grass have begun to replace the frost-bitten yellow spreads.
And that meant only one thing, it was time to pull out the mower.
Of course not everyone’s mower was raring to go after their winter hibernation.
Coaxing them back into life took more than a few pulls of the cord.
In some cases, with fuel having gone stale in the off-season, the chore involved draining the petrol and replacing the oil before anything happened.
And next on the agenda was pulling all the weeds out.
