DAY BY DAY | Taunted and tempted by taste of spring with winter back with a bite

LOOKING A TREAT: Robertson Park earlier this week.
LOOKING A TREAT: Robertson Park earlier this week.

You blink and you miss it.

This week Orange was treated to a fleeting appetiser to spring, with a flurry of warm days all in a row making those in offices want to spend the day in the park.

Robertson Park’s lovely pink cherry blossoms looked a treat this week, but Saturday afternoon will bring back the frigid winter blues we all know and love.

In fact, there’s enough of a threat of snow on Saturday night that Cabonne Council has made the call to shut Mount Canobolas on Saturday afternoon (read more about that on page seven).

Anyone who may have put their winter woolies away will need to pull them back out with a possible low of minus one degrees on Saturday night.
