Most recently the choir was judged the ‘best overall choir’ for a second consecutive year at the Orange Eisteddfod, as well as winning its three sections to take home four awards from just three events.
Musical director Barry Patterson, who has been in charge of the choir since early 2016, said the group had been expanding its repertoire of songs, adding plenty of contemporary tunes.
President Ken Fishpool said the choir had gone under a big change under Mr Patterson with a focus on the way the choir worked together with tenors and baritones and bass singers.
The Choir’s next appearance will be as part of choral extravaganza ‘Lead the Way’, which is a fundraiser for the Guide Dog Association.

Choir member Dave Driscoll, also a part of North Orange Rotary Club, was the driving force behind the event on September 21.
It begins at 7.00 pm at the Orange Civic Theatre.
