Orange City Council doesn’t represent our city's demographic – male, pale and stale is no cliche in Orange.
For example, just over half of Orange voters are women, yet only one has been elected to council.
Orange City Council is clogged with middle-aged and retirement-age male councillors who have served multiple terms.
Nearly all previous councils have been entirely male.

Next election, any councillor who has served three terms or more should stand aside and mentor in a new generation of councillors.
The privilege of representation should be shared.
Special mention here to the 50 per cent of councillors who can’t be bothered replying to ratepayer correspondence.
