ONE OF TWELVE: Joanne McRae is the only woman on Orange City Council.

It was disappointing but not surprising to see excellent Orange City councillor Joanne McRae miss out on a second term as deputy mayor.

Orange City Council doesn’t represent our city's demographic – male, pale and stale is no cliche in Orange.

Next election, any councillor who has served three terms or more should stand aside and mentor in a new generation of councillors.

Special mention here to the 50 per cent of councillors who can’t be bothered replying to ratepayer correspondence.

What are you there for anyway?
