Police: Missing boy, Oberon has been found

CHIFLEY Police District officers have thanked the public after a boy reported missing from Oberon was found.

The missing 13-year-old boy was last seen leaving his home on Bligh Street at Oberon just before 9am on Thursday, September 6.

Police issued an alert for the missing teenager on Friday morning and appealed to the public for its assistance.

About 3.45pm on Friday, the boy was located safe and well in Oberon.

“Police wish to thank the public and the media for its assistance,” officers said through an official statement on Friday evening.
