How much fun can you pack into a 14-hour train trip across the state?
With drag queens Maude Boate, Felicia Foxx and Jo Jo Zaho on board the ride from Central station to Broken Hill via Orange aboard the Silver City Stiletto was sure to be hilarious.
When the train pulled into the tiny Orange East Fork station on Thursday the girls were in full swing, though the most common question from the throng of passengers spilling onto the platform was “Where are we?”
The special train was heading west for this weekend’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert-themed Broken Heel festival in the outback.

NSW Trainlink acting area customer service manager David Rome said the train was growing in popularity like the annual Elvis express train to Parkes.
“This is our second year, it is sold out,” he said.
“It’s getting recognition like Elvis.”
Maude Boat said the first few hours of the trip had been fun.
“We’re having a ball, 14 hours on this train, we’ll be glad to get off,” she said.
The passengers were entertained throughout the trip with food, drink and “risque games.”
Robyn Plunkett was among four passengers to get on at Orange East Fork. “It’s bucket-list stuff, I loved Priscilla, I loved the music, it’s a lot of fun,” she said.
