From their stall outside Blooms The Chemist, the group sold calendars which feature local people with Parkinson’s who have shared their stories.
Funds raised through the sale of the calendars will go towards employing a full-time Parkinson’s nurse who would be based in Orange, but support the entire Central West region.
Rosie Frecklington said they are hoping to raise $20,000 from the pop up stall, from the sale of the calendars at Blooms and a luncheon.
The group will also host the fundraising lunch at Kenna Hall on November 17, with $50 ticket sales going to the cause.
Tickets for tables will be on sale at the Parish Office on Hill Street or by emailing helen.saunders@sosj.org.au.
