A tent over the barbecue and a shift into the CWA Hall enabled the public event to go ahead despite rainfall.
Mr Donato said there were some key issues discussed at his latest session where voters could discuss concerns.
“We’ve had about 20 or 30 people come through, it’s been a steady stream” he said.
Shane Austin said he had moved from Sydney and was concerned about public transport.
“I am interested in seeing the train service improved,” he said.
David Warburton said he wanted to see a morning Orange-Sydney train.
