The state government has selected Marist180, which has its head office in Blacktown, to be a provider for therapeutic care in the Orange region.
Marist180 will support up to 24 young people to find “permanency outcomes” through a variety of services, including foster care, kinship care, independent living, adoption, restoration, therapeutic home-based care and residential care.
A spokesman said they had bought two properties in the region and were looking to lease more.
The provider is looking for 40 youth workers, four caseworkers, five therapeutic house managers and four therapeutic specialists including a psychologist, a social worker and a mental health nurse.
Our goal is to enrich and engage with the community.

The interim CEO Jes Stone-Herbert said they were also seeking 16 multi-discipline specialists including psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, counsellors, teachers and family therapists, plus a program manager.
Ms Stone-Herbert said Marist180 was one of the largest service providers for youth at risk in Australia, and supported youth at risk of exclusion from education, employment or basic rights, or who were homeless, seeking asylum, in trouble with the law, experiencing domestic violence or in need of support to turn their lives around.
“Marist80 is excited to bring our critically important services to support vulnerable young people of Orange and the Central West,” she said.
“Our goal is to enrich and engage with the community in the Marist way, by providing care, safety and acceptance without judgment.”
Ms Stone-Herbert said a information sessions for prospective staff would be held at the Orange City Bowling Club on September 13 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.
“We welcome anyone who is interested in the jobs we have available to come along to our information session,” she said.
