Sunday, September 30 will be 65 years since the airline’s creation, and to mark the occasion its former workers, and anyone else associated with the company, will gather for a lunch at Orange Emus clubhouse at Endeavour Oval.
The function will commence at 11am, with full bar facilities in operation.
Tickets cost $35 for adults, and $10 for children, and can be obtained by emailing Carolyn Egan at hazeltonairlines@gmail.com.
Hazelton Airlines was founded in 1953 by Max Hazelton, alongside his brother Jim.
Its scheduled passenger operations began in 1975 with flights between Orange and Canberra.
Aircraft flew under the Hazelton’s banner until 2001.
