Central Western Daily photographer Carla Freedman captured several people with their snowmen at the Pinnacle and Mount Canobolas.
Temperatures remained chilly for most of the day, with Orange Airport registering 2.2 degrees at midday.
However, the addition of icy wind gusts blowing at 31 km/h made it feel closer to -5.1 degrees.
The rest of the week is set to remain chilly, but dry, with morning frosts giving way to sunny days.
Wednesday will be the warmest, with a top temperature of 15 degrees.
Possible rain is forecast for Saturday but only five millimetres are expected.
The snowfalls echoed the ski fields, which have experienced a bumper season.
