The Hermits were part of the British invasion of the 1960s and had hits including Mrs Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter, No Milk Today and There’s a Kind of Hush.
Original member Barry Whitwam has brought together other musicians to play the hits that made the band stars in Australia and Britain 50 years ago.
Promoter Layton Lillas said the two-hour show at the Orange Civic Theatre was called the 6 O’Clock Hop and would start at 6pm for people to get home early.
“In August we feel people would rather come and enjoy a night out without it being too late,” he said.
