A 25-year-old man, who is alleged to have assaulted and kidnapped a woman, was arrested in Orange and refused bail on the weekend.

The man was charged with taking a person of intention of committing a serious indictable offence, a separate charge of intending to commit an indictable offence, as well as assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Orange police allege the man went to a house in Pindari Place, between 10am and 11am on Saturday where he assaulted a 23-year-old woman.
The man is then alleged to have dragged her out of the house, assaulted the woman again and forced her into a car.
He then forced her into a residence in South Terrace where he further assaulted her.
Police were called and attended the scene.
The man was arrested at 6.45pm on Saturday and was refused bail by police and a registrar.
The man will appear in custody in Orange Local Court on Monday.
