The driver who on Saturday led police on a pursuit up and down a Byng Street block before they rammed the car he was driving and tasered him fronted court.

The grave of a baby girl at Orange cemetery has been vandalised, with ornaments left there smashed and twisted in a vile attack over the weekend.

‘A TRAUMATIC SCENE’: MAN DEAD AFTER BEING HIT BY XPT AT BATHURST CROSSING
A man died after being hit by the west-bound XPT at Bathurst’s Lloyds Road intersection on Wednesday morning. The passenger train had just left the Bathurst railway station when it hit the man shortly before 11am.

73-YEAR-OLD MAN SUFFERS HEART ATTACK, DIES AT SCENE OF MITCHELL HIGHWAY ACCIDENT
Emergency services were called to the Mitchell Higway near Bakers Swamp, about 25 kilometres south of Wellington after reports a Toyota Camry sedan and a Toyota Landcruiser towing a caravan were involved in a head-on collision.
