Mr Fleming has been the club’s market co-ordinator for eight years.
“When I joined Rotary I was director for club services and part of that job is to do the farmers markets, it was part of my portfolio doing that,” Mr Fleming said.
He said the club used to run the markets but stall-holders have since taken it over and now the club raises money, organises the hamper give-away and helps out stall holders.
“The money we collect helps so many different charities,” Mr Fleming said.
“It gives Rotary a [presence], some people don’t know what Rotary is and what we do and all that.”
