JUST when you thought Orange’s winter weather couldn’t get any wilder, the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) on Monday evening predicted possible snow for the summit and higher slopes of Mount Canobolas on Friday.

The forecast also includes snowfalls for other pockets of the Central West, including Jenolan Caves, Oberon and Shooters Hill.
According to www.weatherzone.com.au’s seven-day forecast for Orange, Friday’s temperatures will range from 2 to 7 degrees Celsius.
If the forecast is accurate the weekend will be cooler still, with minimums of -3 degrees (Saturday) and -4 degrees (Sunday) to start the days.
