Michael Gillman, of Molong Road, was given two $330 fines and two-concurrent six-month driving disqualifications for the two separate offences.
He was first stopped by police at 9.40am on March 11, for a random drug and alcohol test in Spring Street.
He tested positive to methamphetamine and was arrested and taken to Orange Police Station for a second test and for a sample to be sent away for further analysis.
Gillman also tested positive to methamphetamine after being stopped by police for a random breath and drug test at 6.25pm in Peisley Street on March 31.
The cannabis was detected in later analysis and sentencing magistrate David Day said it can take six weeks to leave a person’s system and be undetectable.
