Despite the icy winds, persistent rain, and a maximum temperature that stubbornly refused to even approach double digits, several would-be pros and weekend hackers headed outdoors to complete their weekly competition rounds on Saturday.
Among them was a man wearing shorts.
“You don’t see that every day,” someone nearby remarked in disbelief.
