Canobolas Lions Club are hosting a screening of Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again on Thursday, July 19, with funds raised going towards a truckload of hay for farmers in need of some help.

The truckload of hay will be brought up by Mrs Ward’s husband Paddy, with the Department of Primary Industries helping to determine “who needs it most”.

“Hopefully that’s someone in the Central West but we want to make sure it goes to someone who really needs it,” Mrs Ward said.

The club’s publicity officer Lyn Ward said the group was looking for another project after raising $100,000 for a diagnostic machine at Orange hospital.

Tickets cost $20, which includes finger food, and are available from Orange Central Fitness or by calling Mrs Ward on 0438 003 140.

Lifeline: 13 11 14.
