A reduced speed limit will be in place at night on the Great Western Highway east of Bathurst from Sunday evening.
The Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) said repair and resealing work will be carried out on a rough section of the highway between between Kelso and Raglan between 6pm and 6am from until Friday.
A reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.
Meanwhile, motorists have been advised work hours for a road safety project on the Mid Western Highway at Blayney have been changed.
The work involves realigning and regrading the curve on Adelaide and Martha streets, as well as improvements to the Hobbys Yards Road intersection.
The work hours have been extended to Monday to Saturday between 7am and 6pm, weather permitting. Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will remain in place.
Drivers on The Escort Way can anticipate delays due to lane closures near Hedburg Hill, about 6.5 kilometres west of Orange.
A speed limit of 40km/h will be in place, with work expected to be completed on Saturday.
To Orange’s north, crews will be installing new guardrails on the Mitchell Highway south of Wellington.
Lane closures and reduced speed limits will be in effect for the duration of the work, which is expected to be finished on Saturday.
Delays for the projects are anticipated to range between five and 15 minutes.
