Superleague round one pushed back after registration numbers fall short

Low numbers have forced Superleague to delay the state of their season for 2018, with the original round two on July 22 the new opening round of the tournament.

Low numbers initially forced the draft night to be moved back to Friday, with round one expected this Sunday.

The new draft night will be July 20.

Round two is August 12 and round three September 23.

Nominations will also be opened to hockey players around the Central West and the state, with a registration day on July 1.
