On Tuesday Orange Anglican Grammar School (OAGS) hosted the HICES (Heads of Independent Co-Educational Schools) Primary School Cross Country carnival.

Nearly 700 students from across the state and aged between eight and 13 competed over courses either 2000 or 3000 metres in length on the newly-developed OAGS cross country course.
It was the second time the event had been held in Orange, but the first time OAGS had hosted.
From this carnival a team of students was selected to represent the HICES team at the CIS (Combined Independent Schools) Cross Country Championships.
The Orange Anglican Grammar School Parents and Friends Association hosted a fundraising barbecue.
