The Orange City Lions Rugby Union club stalwart offered up his ginger locks – those growing on top of his head and those sprouting from the lower extremities of his face – in the name of charity when he submitted to a fundraising head shave.
His Orange City clubmates and lots of supporters made it a worthwhile sacrifice, donating thousands of dollars towards Mr Ryan’s Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer campaign, which he is undertaking in conjunction with Mitchell Pearce, Joey Thorley, Joe Alexander and Harry Cooper.
The group, along with 12 other groups and individuals, will debut their dance moves in front of a packed house at Orange Function Centre on Saturday night.
