It’s the grand final rematch, with the Orange Tigers taking on the Bathurst Bushrangers Outlaws in round six of the 2018 Central West AFL season, 

It’s also Michael Rothnie’s 100th game, after having sat on the 99-game milestone for two weeks after the Tigers’ round three clash was rescheduled and work commitments kept him out of the win over Parkes.

And though he doesn’t want to admit it it’s Tigers coach Dale Hunter’s 100th game, the man excellently nicknamed Croc will suit up and don the boots as well.

Hunter flat-out refused to talk about his upcoming milestone ahead of the clash, preferring to focus on the form of the side heading into the top of the table clash with Outlaws.

While it will be the same two teams that played in the 2017 decider, which the Bushrangers won after a dominant first half, Hunter said the two sides that run out on Saturday at on George Park Oval will be completely different.

“It’s the two clubs that played in last year’s grand final, but two very different outfits, almost incomparable really,” Hunter said.

“We’ve been tracking how they’ve been going and they seem to be pretty confident so we need to just build on our performances and look to play that elusive, four-quarter game that we haven’t managed to do this year.

“But it is hard to be in a contest for four full quarters, especially against quality opposition, but that’s definitely the aim.

“They’ve got quality players across the ground so  don't think we can go in single-mindedly and targeting one or two, because the others will get off the leash.

They should be thinking the same about us though.”

While Hunter refused to talk shop about his hundredth game, vice-captain Michael Rothnie will also be notching the same milestone, which they both said is pretty special.

“I’m very pleased to be able to pull on the boots for his 100th, I’ve probably played in 80-odd of his games so to play in his 100th is something I’ll hold very dearly,” Hunter said.

“We’re really keen to get the win for him.”

“Playing Parkes over there wouldn’t have meant as much playing Bathurst in Bathurst for my 100^th, it holds a lot of history for myself and Croc (after we) did the unthinkable and pipped the Bushies in the 2013 grand final,” Rothnie said.

“Good things come in twos I guess, I’m very excited to be running with Croc for the milestone.”
