Marlina Grace Kelly, 34, of Sir Neville Howse Place, pleaded guilty on Monday to hindering police during an incident in the early hours of March 17.
According to police, officers attended the property to arrest Kelly’s partner on other matters.
But Kelly questioned officers on what they were doing and did not stay back despite several directions.
Officers were forced to push her away twice and strike her lower jaw once.
Solicitor Peter Ringbauer said his client’s face still had numbness.
“At no stage did she strike any of the police officers,” he said.
Magistrate David Day said “she got a bit overwrought”.
“She was intervening when officers were trying to do their job,” he said.
Mr Day gave Kelly a 12-month good behaviour bond and warned her not to overreact in future.
