Markets’ director Sam Adams said they were pleased with the trading.
“We were really happy,” he said.
“The majority of people we spoke to said they were happy with [the event].”
Mr Adams said they would seek a meeting with Orange City Council to discuss returning once a year.
He said they were concerned about opposition to the markets from local groups worried about it affecting the Orange festival night market events in Robertson Park.
However, he said he hoped it was now seen that they were aiming at the family market and were different to the way the Orange night markets operated.
The Aussie markets brought a range of international cuisines in food trucks to Orange, had rides for children and clothing and fashion accessory stalls.
