The duo have been selected to take part in Stars of Orange Dance for Cancer which takes place at the Orange Function Centre on June 2.
Miss Amos said she is feeling much more confident after the team finally agreed on a song this week, after several training sessions at United Dance Project.
“We wanted a song everyone new, but it had to be family friendly,” she said.
Miss Amos’ family and friends will take up two tables in the audience, travelling as far as her home town in Mungindi on the Queensland and NSW border.
“I have had family fight cancer, I think it’s such a big part of our society that most people have – it’s good to get out in the name of a good cause,” she said.
Miss Amos and Miss Dance have raised $3,520 so far, with a swim across Lake Canobolas, followed by a Mad Hatter’s a-MAZE-ing Tea Party contributing the most to their total.
Agrestic Grocers’ Beau Baddock maintains his top-of-the-leaderboard spot with $10,065 raised ahead of the event.
The combined total of the performers is $43,531.
