Trevor Ian Crawford, 53, of Jilba Street, had his pocket knife confiscated by police and was convicted without further penalty when he appeared in court for having the item in his possession in Peisley Street on February 1. 

Crawford was heavily intoxicated and was arrested for his own protection at 6.20pm and the knife was found in his bag during a search.
