The eye-catching figure was pushed more than 200 kilometres from Robertson Park to Boorowa Showground by a series of teams, who used their time on the road to raise funds for the Country Education Foundation.
Co-organiser Richard Fleming thanked the owners and patrons of the route’s various pubs – including those in Canowindra and Cargo – which hosted them along the way.
“They’re amazing, in Cargo, they were just great fun, free food, free accommodation,” Mr Fleming said.
“At the Canowindra Hotel, they are really good people and the management was excellent.
“It wouldn't have been possible without them.”
Mr Fleming said there are no plans to hold the Pig Push next year and believes the event will be held on a bi-annual basis.
“We are keen for another committee to take it on and do it and we will be happy to consult and push for a day,” he said.
