This year will also coincide with the 25th year since the show became a royal one.
Royal Bathurst Show president Sam Farraway said the celebration would be bigger and better than ever.
“We have a change in our normal schedule this year, so we can fit in so many more things for the 150th celebration.
“This is probably, without being biased, the leading regional agricultural show in NSW, if not Australia.”
Fireworks will be held on both Friday and Saturday night, ones that Mr Farraway said are “renowned as the best fireworks west of the Blue Mountains”.
NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro is set to swap his suit for boots and jeans to attend the Showafter he was invited to officially open the show on Saturday and organisers say he has cleared his entire day to spend it in Bathurst.
The show kicks off on Friday.
