MyDay is a great opportunity for year 11 and 12 students to check out facilities and see first-hand what it’s really like to study at CSU.
Orange campus prospective student advisor Hilary Matchett says MyDays are a great opportunity for high school students to see if CSU is the right fit for them.
“Students will get the opportunity to be involved in hands-on workshops, meet academic staff and see our campus.
We also encourage parents to come along to the event and attend sessions about university life at CSU Orange.”
Pharmacy student Emily Pierce attended her MyDay experience as a year 12 student and says it really helped her to get a feel for the campus and try out some of the practical aspects of pharmacy.
“Attending the MyDay confirmed my choice of career and university. I’m now in my second year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy, working in a pharmacy part time and loving both.”
At CSU Orange, MyDay will include clinical science, dentistry, pharmacy, physiotherapy and science courses.
MyDay will run at Wagga Wagga campus (animal and veterinary sciences) April 16 and also run at CSU Bathurst (communication and creative industries) on April 20 and .
MyDay events will continue through June and July across CSU campuses, covering a broad range of courses.
Students and their parents can register for 2018 MyDay events at csu.edu.au/myday
