After reading court reports in the Central Western Daily, I begin to wonder what percentage of drivers are unlicenced, disqualified and/or on drugs. Is it 5, 10, 20 per cent?
Perhaps our local police could supply a guess-timate, because I'm sure that most drivers in and around Orange would like to know.
PS: Back in 1972, Robyn Boyd wrote “Australians today are as sophisticated as any peoples on earth, with as high a proportion of alcoholics as any, a steady growing proportion of drug addicts and a road toll the equal of any overseas, per head of population”.
