The markets are organised by the Millthorpe Public School P&C and have been running for over a decade, in that time expanding to become one of the largest community events in regional NSW.
Coordinator Rachel Booth is excited about how well next month’s edition is shaping up.
“Millthorpe Markets will be hosting over 250 stallholders, showcasing everything from fashion to face-painting, clothing to candles, gourmet delights to homewares and of course a plethora of delicious fresh food,” Mrs Booth said.
The markets are spread over both the oval and into the school grounds, which is where stall coordinator Ellie McNamara said all the delicious foods will be.
“We’ll have most of the gourmet foods in the shade of the school grounds so that people can sit around and enjoy a coffee, lunch or a nice snack,” Mrs McNamara said.
Free car parking facilities are available just a short walk from the markets in the grounds of St Canice’s Church in Park Street, and bus parking is available in the grounds of the Woodblind Factory in Victoria Street.
Designated disabled parking spaces are located on Park Street, adjacent to the oval’s gates.
