Firefighters were called to the Muir & Weal business on Olive Street at 8.11pm on Saturday after reports a commercial shed was on fire.
A multi-agency response from the NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) occurred, with 11 trucks rushing to the scene.
NSW RFS Inspector Brett Bowden said the building was “full involved” by fire upon their arrival.
“It is totally destroyed, but there are remnants of the building still standing,” he said.
“The overriding priority of the brigades on arrival was to contain the fire in the building of origin.”
A specialist structural fire investigator was sent to the scene on Monday to determine the fire’s cause and origin.
“It’s thought to be an electrical fault, but that will be determined by the fire investigator,” Insp Bowden said.
FRNSW crews were also sent to the scene on Monday to “ensure the asbestos risk” in the burnt-out property had been contained.
Meanwhile, the property was listed for sale just five days before the blaze.
The Domain listing said the commercial shed was 20 metres by 10 metres in size, with a two-bedroom cottage located on the same site.
