A Department of Family and Community Services [FACS] spokesman said there would be two community clean ups to help residents.
“Clean ups are scheduled to take place from March 22 in Bowen and March 28 in Glenroi,” he said.
“Bins will be placed in accessible locations in these estates, and marked clearly with flyers and community information.
“All residents who live within the social housing properties that the bins have been designated for are welcome to access the skip bins allocated during the clean ups.”
A Glenroi resident, who did not want to be named, complained this month about the amount of rubbish on kerbsides and on empty land in Orchard Grove Road and in Raines Place.
The FACS spokesman said previous clean ups helped people who lacked the transport or money to remove bulky and large rubbish.
