Miller has been under an injury cloud and was monitored closely, only playing half a game at a time as her side claimed wins over Canberra (41-27), North Shore United (38-30) and Orange (37-27), while going down to its under-19 equivalent (37-26) and GWS (35-29).
“She was only allowed to play half a game, but she was killing it out there, no doubt she’ll get her body right and be ready to go for nationals,” tournament coordinator Mardi Aplin, who also coached Miller at Life Studio, said.
“It was a really proud moment to see Annie playing in blue, especially doing it back on home turf. I’m sure playing against the Orange girls probably made her a little bit more nervous but it’s so wonderful to see her making these teams.
“I’m sure she’ll keep progressing through the pathways.”
